San Francisco 49ers DFS Spin
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) could be out until after the team’s Week 9 bye. Samuel is reportedly dealing with a hairline fracture in his shoulder, which could hold him out of the lineup until after the team’s Week 9 bye. The team has not elected to place him on injured reserve, indicating that they believe the injury will not require a full five weeks to heal (four games plus the bye). Expect a slight bump in snaps for Jauan Jennings and a potential meaningful jump for Ray-Ray McCloud. McCloud saw a massive 71 percent of the team’s offensive snaps in Week 6 after Samuel departed with injury.
Minnesota Vikings DFS Spin
T.J. Hockenson caught 6-of-8 targets for 50 yards in the Vikings’ Week 6 win over the Bears. Hockenson was the Vikings’ most targeted pass-catcher in the team’s Week 6 victory. He had an early drop, but got going on the last drive of the first half, making a 21-yard reception to set up a touchdown later. Hockenson’s usage continues to be predominantly short-yardage with a deep throw or two sprinkled in. The Vikings’ pass volume propels him squarely into TE1 territory for Week 7 against the 49ers.

49ers vs. Vikings Prediction:
The losses continue to pile up for the Vikings but these fools also play in a lot of tight games. In fact, all six of their games this season have been decided by one score, which is tied for their most consecutive one-score games to start a season. With Christian McCaffrey banged up and Deebo Samuel out, the 49ers’ high-powered offense will not be at full strength. I do expect the Niners to rebound from their loss to the Browns last week, but this is a tougher spot than people think. To travel to Cleveland, then back to the Bay Area, then back to the Midwest to play a primetime spot without their full complement of weapons won’t be as easy as people think.
