Falcons vs. Eagles Prediction
Will Matt Ryan and the Falcons stay hot and pick up another victory when they visit the Eagles today at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, this game is now a pick’em after the Eagles opened as a 1-point favorite versus the Falcons. As for the total, the number hit the board at 49.5 but has been bet up to 50 points at most online and Vegas sports books.
FALCONS KEY TRENDS: After crushing the Buccaneers as a small road favorite last Thursday night, the Falcons are now a perfect 6-0 against the spread in their last six road games. They’re also 6-2 at the betting window in their last eight games overall and are 4-1 against the number in their last five games versus NFC opponents. They’re 5-0 against the spread in their last five games following a straight up win as well.
EAGLES KEY TRENDS: The Eagles have now dropped four of five at the betting window and are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus NFC opponents. They are 10-21-1 against the spread in their last 32 games at the betting window against teams with a winning record and are winless at 0-4 against the spread in their last four games played in the month of November.

OUR PREDICTION: This another matchup between great offense versus great defense but the Falcons have proven that they can score, and score big, on any team in the NFL. The Eagles rank sixth in the league in total yards allowed, fifth in passing yards allowed and sixth in points allowed this season. But they haven’t faced an offense as potent as Atlanta’s, which can beat you in a multitude of ways. Carson Wentz continues to have his ups and downs as a rookie and while the Falcons’ defense has poor overall numbers, they’re making small strides each week. Their defense sacked Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston three times on Thursday night and the Falcons have now sacked opposing signal-callers three or more times in four of their last five games. There’s only so much Philadelphia’s defense will be able to do to keep the Eagles in the game.
