Ravens vs. Cowboys Prediction
Will the Ravens pull off the upset or at least cover as an underdog today at 1:00PM ET when they visit the red-hot Cowboys?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cowboys are 7-point home favorites versus the Ravens after spending some time as a 7.5-point favorite earlier in the week. As for the total, the number opened at 43.5 but has been bet up to 45 at most online and Vegas sports books.
Following a four-game losing streak the Ravens have won two straight games and covered in both of those contests as well. They beat the Steelers 21-14 as a 3.5-point home underdog two weeks ago and throttled the Browns 28-7 as a 7.5-point favorite last Thursday after trailing 7-6 at halftime.
The Cowboys are the hottest team in the NFL both straight up and at the betting window. After losing 20-19 as a 1-point home favorite in Week 1, the Cowboys have rattled off eight straight wins, covering in each one of those contests. In their last victory, Dallas beat Pittsburgh 35-30 with a last-minute touchdown to cover as a 3-point road underdog.

OUR PREDICTION: If you’re going to beat the Cowboys you better be able to stop the run and the Ravens have the No. 1 run defense in the NFL, allowing just 71.3 rush yards per game. Baltimore has also looked significantly better offensively and hasn’t been as reliant on Joe Flacco as it has been at times this season. The Cowboys are just 5-11-1 against the spread in their last 17 home games while the Ravens are 18-8-1 at the betting window in their last 27 games against opponents that have winning records.
