Bears vs. Eagles Prediction
The Philadelphia Eagles are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now but will they cover as a double-digit home favorite on Sunday when they host the Chicago Bears at 1:00 p.m. ET?
Who Oddsmakers Like: Philadelphia. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Eagles are now 14-point home favorites over the Bears, who opened as 13-point road underdogs for this game. As for the total, the number hit the board at 44 and that’s where it currently sits.
Who the Public Likes: Philadelphia. Public bettors aren’t scared of laying the big number because over 60% of tickets are on the Eagles to cover the point spread today.
Who the Trends Like: The over and Chicago. In the last four meetings between these two teams, the over is a perfect 4-0. The underdog is also 9-3 against the spread in the last 12 meetings between these two teams.
Who We Like: Philadelphia. The Bears have been a great bet this season…at home. Not so much on the road. They’re just 1-4 against the number in their last five road games and I don’t see them hanging with Carson Wentz and Co. today.
Granted, this is a letdown spot for the Eagles after playing a division rival in primetime last year but I like them anyone. They’re a perfect 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games overall, they’re 5-0 against the number in their last five conference games, and are 4-0 at the betting window in their last four home games.
