Chicago Bears DFS Spin
ESPN’s Dan Graziano reports the Bears are “optimistic” David Montgomery (ankle, questionable) will play Week 5 against the Vikings. Montgomery appeared to be on the right side of questionable after back-to-back limited practices to close out the week. He is returning to a good matchup, but it is possible the Bears give Khalil Herbert more reps than usual with Montgomery returning from injury. Montgomery is a risky RB2 option.
Minnesota Vikings DFS Spin
Kirk Cousins completed 25-of-38 passes for 273 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in the Vikings’ 28-25, Week 4 win over the Saints. Cousins could have had a second touchdown on the day, but Justin Jefferson dropped a would-be score in the back of the end zone. The third-quarter drive ultimately ended in a field goal. Cousins was under pressure throughout this game, caving to three sacks for a combined loss of 23 yards. It wasn’t a perfect outing from Cousins or the Vikings, but they move to 3-1 on the year either way. Cousins will be a high-end QB2 for his Week 5 matchup with the Bears.
