Cincinnati Bengals DFS Spin
Joe Burrow completed 27-of-39 for 200 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception in the Bengals’ Week 15 win against the Bucs, adding three rushes for eight yards. Burrow and the Bengals offense appeared frazzled and discombobulated against Tom Brady and the Bucs, going down 17-0 before pouring on 34 straight points. Burrow was inefficient through the air — he nearly hit on a couple downfield shots in the second half — but effectively carved up Tampa’s secondary, which was healthier in Week 15 than it had been in at least a month. Burrow’s red zone passing was spot on in the second half, as he hit Tyler Boyd, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins for short scores. He connected with Higgins for a two-point conversion. A frustrated Bucs defense had no answers for the Bengals passing attack in the final two quarters. Burrow, the first-ever Bengals quarterback with back-to-back 30-touchdown seasons, will be a QB1 in Week 16 against the Patriots.
New England Patriots DFS Spin
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick would not comment on whether or not Mac Jones will start the final three weeks of the season. “Yeah, the plan is to try to beat Cincinnati,” was Belichick’s response when asked about Jones on Wednesday. The 2022 version of “we’re on to Cincinnati” echoes the frustrations Belichick and company are likely feeling this season, especially after an embarrassing loss to the Raiders in which jones threw for 112 yards while completing just 41.9 percent of his passes. If Belichick is to bench Jones at any point this season, he would pivot back to rookie Bailey Zappe, who became a fan-favorite during his brief stint as the team’s starter earlier this season. Those banking on Jones being active in 2QB and superflex leagues would be wise to have a contingency plan in place should Belichick pull the plug on Jones during the fantasy playoffs.

Bengals at Patriots Prediction:
The Bengals are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games versus the Patriots, while the home team is 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings between these two teams. The Patriots are also 33-16-3 against the spread in their last 52 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous contest and are 4-1-1 against the number in their last six games coming off a straight up loss. With the way the Pats lost last week in Las Vegas, I expect Bill Belichick’s team to come out with urgency and focus this afternoon against the defending AFC title champs.
