Bengals look to contain DeAngelo Williams and the Steelers on Sunday

Williams ready for Bengals

DeAngelo Williams has given the Pittsburgh Steelers all they could ask for as a replacement for Le’Veon Bell. Will Williams continue to flourish against the Cincinnati Bengals?

View NFL Odds

According to oddsmakers at RealBets, the Bengals are favored at home, as they are getting odds of -3 points against the Steelers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 49 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on CBS.

Williams has had more of a role than anticipated this season for Pittsburgh (7-5, 7-4-1 ATS), due to the injury to Bell. The 10-year veteran has run for 697 yards and six touchdowns while also catching 25 passes for 256 yards. He is coming off a 134-yard performance against the Colts last week and has three games with 120 rushing yards or more this season. Oddsmakers have listed Williams with an over/under of 75.5 rushing yards for this game.

Today Williams and the Steelers meet up with the Bengals (10-2, 10-1-1 ATS), who rank ninth in the NFL against the run, allowing just 97.2 yards per game on the ground. They have also only allowed just two rushing touchdowns to running backs this season. They haven’t given up 100 rushing yards to back since the last meeting with Pittsburgh in Week 8. In that game, Williams had 71 rushing yards on nine carries.
