Bengals vs. Bills Week 3 Prediction
The Bills will look to improve to 3-0 on the young season when they play their home opener at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday versus the Bengals. Is six points too much to lay on the Bills, who could also improve to 3-0 ATS on the year?

Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Spin
Bengals LT Cordy Glenn (concussion) has been ruled out for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Bills. Backup LT Andre Smith (groin) and G Michael Jordan (knee) are questionable. The entire offense is set up poorly on the road against the Bills’ ferocious defense. The Bengals rank 24th in adjusted sack rate and dead last in adjusted line yards per rush after two weeks (Football Outsiders).
Buffalo Bills Fantasy Spin
Devin Singletary (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 3. This was expected after Singletary missed practice all week. Frank Gore will start, but T.J. Yeldon will have an expanded role with Singletary sidelined. Singletary’s hamstring strain is of the lower-grade variety. There’s hope he’ll only end up sitting one game.
NFL Betting Trends
Cincinnati
The Bengals are a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five road games and have covered in five of their last six overall.
Buffalo
The Bills have covered the spread in four straight games and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven conference matchups.
Prediction
The Bills were a small underdog in Week 1 when they rallied in the fourth quarter to upend the Jets and at kickoff last Sunday against the Giants, had gone from a small dog to a small favorite. The Bengals, meanwhile, were trounced when they were a small favorite last week at home against the 49ers, but covered easily in a near-upset as a large underdog in Seattle in Week 1. This line looked right at Bills -4 but feels inflated at Buffalo -6. I’m going to roll the dice on the banged-up Bengals being slightly undervalued as a road dog.
