Bengals vs. Titans NFL Prediction

Joe Burrow will attempt to do something that no former No. 1 pick has ever accomplished: Advance to a conference championship game in his first or second season. Will the Bengals pull off the upset against the Titans or is the No. 1 seed the better play as a home favorite?

Cincinnati Bengals DFS Spin

Joe Burrow completed 24-of-34 attempts for 244 yards and two touchdowns in the Bengals’ Super Wild Card Weekend win against the Raiders. Burrow led a shaky, indecisive Cincinnati offense with head coach Zac Taylor making several questionable calls in the second half. Clearly terrified of losing, the Bengals eked it out against an inferior opponent. Burrow leading the franchise to their first postseason victory in 31 years is a tremendous achievement, however inevitable. He once and keyed on Ja’Marr Chase in this one, looking nowhere else for large swaths of the first half. Displaying his otherworldly pocket presence, Burrow — one year removed from an ACL tear — snuck out of a few would-be sacks and made a highlight touchdown throw to Tyler Boyd as he faded out of bounds. He also connected with C.J. Uzomah for a score. The Bengals will need to be far more aggressive on offense if they have any desire to advance beyond the Divisional Round.

Tennessee Titans DFS Spin

Titans activated Derrick Henry (foot) from injured reserve. As expected. He’ll play Saturday for the first time since he injured his foot in Week 8 against Los Angeles. Henry has averaged 111 yards (and 4.9 yards per carry) with three touchdowns across six playoff appearances and is expected to be leaned on again in the Divisional Round against Cincinnati’s banged up front-seven.

NFL Divisional Round Betting Prediction

The Bengals are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games in Tennessee and are a perfect 4-0 against the number in their last four games versus the Titans overall. Cincinnati has also covered in five straight games overall, is 4-0 against the number in its last four games as a road underdog and is 6-1 ATS in its last seven road games. On the other side, the Titans are 0-4-1 against the spread in their last five playoff home games and are 1-4 against the number in their last five games coming off a win.

NFL DIVISIONAL ROUND BETTING PREDICTIONS: CINCINNATI BENGALS +3.5
