Betting Total in Vikings vs. Eagles NFC Championship Game Climbs 1/19/18

Total Climning for NFC Title Game

The over/under for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game has climbed a full point off the opening number. Here is where it currently sits.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the over/under currently sits at 39 points after hitting the board at 38. Granted, this is only a half-point line move from where that number has been all week, which was 38.5. Still, it’s interesting that the total has moved a full point off the original number.

As of Friday afternoon, 53% of the betting tickets online are on the over but 55% of the money online is on the under. That’s why it’s interesting to see the total move. There must be some wiseguy action on the over in Las Vegas.

As for the point spread, the Vikings opened as a 3.5-point road favorite but the Eagles are now 3-point home underdogs. The line dropped on Tuesday and has stayed steady throughout the week. As of this writing, 52% of betting tickets online are on the Vikings while 51% of the money online is on the Eagles to cover the spread.

The Vikings are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games in Philadelphia and 2-6 against the number in their last eight games versus the Eagles overall. The underdog has also cashed in four of the last five meetings between these two teams.

Meanwhile, the under has cashed in five of the last seven meetings between these two teams and is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings in Philadelphia.
