Taylor to lead BUF over PHI?
LeSean McCoy has been the focus of this week’s game between the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles, but is Tyrod Taylor the key to Buffalo’s success?
According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, the Eagles are the slight favorite at home in this game, as Philly is getting odds of -1 point against the Bills. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on CBS.
The Bills (6-6, 6-5-1 ATS) bring McCoy back to his old home to face Chip Kelly and the Eagles (5-7, 5-7 ATS), but Taylor is the player that seems to have a favorable matchup on paper. The Eagles come into today’s game as one of the worst against opposing quarterbacks, allowing 28 touchdowns passes and three rushing TDs to QBs. Taylor has modest numbers, throwing for 2,171 yards with 17 touchdowns while rushing for 318 yards and three scores, but he has thrown just four interceptions and has been a strong game manager for Buffalo.
For today’s game Taylor has an over/under of 215.5 yards passing and 1.5 passing touchdowns. Taylor has 502 passing yards and six touchdown passes over his last two games while rushing for over 40 yards in five different games this year. The Eagles have allowed multiple TD passes over their last five games and their last two opponents have eclipsed 300 yards. Look for Taylor to put up big numbers today. If you’re a fantasy player and in need of some help at the position, Taylor could be your guy.
