Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
Bills EDGE Von Miller (knee) said he isn’t sure if he will be able to return from the PUP list in Week 5. Miller said he was medically cleared before the deadline to be activated from the PUP list before the start of the season, but Buffalo chose to keep him on anyway. Bills GM Brandon Beane previously expressed optimism on Miller returning for Week 5, the first game he will be eligible to return for, but the Bills are obviously taking extra caution with Miller’s recovery. He is coming off a torn ACL suffered last November and his availability for the playoff push is more important than any contribution he could make early in the season.
New York Jets DFS Spin
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Dalvin Cook is expected to get “the bulk of the carries for the New York Jets at least during the early part of the season.” Much to the chagrin of Breece Hall drafters, Rapoport specifically said Cook would be seeing that workload early in the season as opposed to just Week 1. Rapoport also noted that the Jets plan to be “extremely smart and safe” with Hall. The news boosts Cook firmly into the RB2 ranks while sinking all deep into FLEX territory. Fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach with Hall until further notice.

Bills vs. Jets Prediction:
Give me the Jets. Yes, the offensive line in front of Aaron Rodgers could be an issue this season but when it comes to this matchup, who is going to rush the passer consistently for Buffalo? Miller will miss over a month recovering from surgery and while the addition of Leonard Floyd was good this offseason, I don’t think the Bills’ pass rush is formidable. For at least one week, the Jets will be fine protecting Rodgers, who looks rejuvenated in his new digs. The Jets defense is also locked and loaded and there were issues with Buffalo’s offense long before the team imploded versus Cincinnati in the Divisional round of the playoffs last season.
