Brady 2-6 in Denver, Patriots 1-5 against spread as road team vs. Broncos

Brady just 2-6 vs. Broncos in Denver

There’s been plenty of banter about Peyton Manning’s struggles in the postseason but Tom Brady hasn’t exactly been lighting it up in Denver.

View NFL Championship Game Odds

For his career, Brady is just 2-6 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Manning and the Broncos beat the Patriots in the 2013 AFC Championship Game in Denver while Brian Griese, Jake Plummer (twice), Kyle Orton and Brock Osweiler were the other quarterbacks to pick up wins while opposing Brady in Denver.

From a betting standpoint, the Patriots are 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games versus the Broncos. They’re 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall, but haven’t found success in Denver for whatever reason (perhaps it’s the altitude). The home team is also a perfect 6-0 against the spread in the last six meetings between these two teams.

Nevertheless, New England is currently a 3-point favorite for Sunday’s matchup according to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI. The total also sits at 44.5 points.
