Broncos favored by 14 points in season finale vs. Raiders on Sunday

Broncos a two-TD favorite

DENVER, CO (The Spread) – The Denver Broncos are looking for a little positive momentum heading into the playoffs on Sunday when they host the Oakland Raiders at 4:25PM ET.

View Current NFL Odds

Denver is coming off a 37-28 loss at Cincinnati on Monday night. That win snapped a four-game win streak for the Broncos, but Denver hasn’t looked quite like itself on offense in some time, as they have failed to reach 30 points in four straight. Denver needs a win to secure the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and they come into this game at 7-8 against the spread on the year, but just 2-4 ATS in their last six.

Oakland is coming off a 26-24 win over Buffalo at home last week. The Raiders have won their last three home games to improve to 3-12 on the season. Oakland is 8-7 against the spread this season, but they are 4-2 ATS in their last six. The Raiders have hit the over in six of their last eight games.

According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Denver is the clear favorite in this game, as the Broncos are getting odds of -14 points against the Raiders. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47.5 points (View Matchup). Denver has won six straight over Oakland and the Broncos are 5-0-1 against the spread in those six games. The two have hit the over in two of their last three meetings, including in a 41-17 win for Denver on Nov. 9.

Bet on NFL Week 17 Odds

In the first meeting, Oakland actually got out to a 10-6 lead on Denver early thanks to a couple of Peyton Manning turnovers. However, Manning and the Denver offense rallied, tallying a total of 471 yards while the Raiders were held to just 222 yards of offense. Manning finished with 340 passing yards and five touchdowns. Manning comes into this game having four straight performances that were not quite Manning-like. Last Monday he threw four interceptions to Cincinnati and the three games priors to that he failed to throw for at least 250 yards.
