Public Betting: Public Bettors Backing Bills

As of this writing, our NFL Public Betting page shows that 61% of bets are on Buffalo. That said, this page is updated frequently so make sure that you click on the link provided so that you’re getting the most updated information.

Denver Broncos

After losing to the Chargers and the Bengals, the Broncos finally got the win they needed to clinch a playoff spot in a 38-0 victory over the Chiefs. Obviously the Chiefs didn’t play any of their key players so this was an easy victory. Bo Nix completed 26 of his 29 pass attempts for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also led the team in rushing with 47 yards. Marvin Mims ended the season with a 51 yard two touchdown game. Nix threw 29 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions on the season. He also averaged 4.7 yards per carry.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills ended their regular season with a meaningless loss to the Patriots 23-16. Josh Allen got the day off but James Cook got some work in, scoring his 16th rushing touchdown of the season. Josh Allen finished the season with 28 passing touchdowns, 12 rushing touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. One concern for the Bills is defensively they have given up 28.8 points per game over their last 5 games.

Denver is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games

The OVER is 5-1 in Denver’s last 6 road games

Buffalo is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games against Denver

The UNDER is 8-1 in Baltimore’s last 9 games against Pittsburgh

Broncos vs. Bills Prediction:

Take the Broncos to keep this one close on Sunday afternoon. Denver has some momentum going into this wildcard matchup after they just crushed the Chiefs 38-0. The Broncos offense has been moving the ball very well, scoring 24+ points in 7 straight games. The Bills defense has struggled to end the season, allowing 28.8 points per game over their last 5 games. That includes 44 points from the Rams, 42 points from the Lions, and the Patriots scored 21+ on them twice. Buffalo of course has a very strong offense but Denver matches that with a very strong defense that ranks 3rd and allows just 18.3 points per game. They also lead the league in sacks per game averaging 3.7. Right behind them is the Ravens who destroyed the Bills 35-10 early on in the season to hand them their first loss. Sean Payton has plenty of playoff experience under his belt and although Bo Nix is technically a rookie, he brings plenty of experience and maturity in big games from his multiple years in college. Denver is 6-3 ATS on the road this season and has only lost by double digits one time, to the same Ravens team that beat down the Bills. I think Josh Allen will make a few big plays late to seal the game but I think the Broncos will put up a fight hereand cover the spread.

Broncos vs. Bills Prediction: Broncos +9
