Broncos vs. Packers Week 3 Prediction
The Packers will look to improve to 2-0 when they host the winless Broncos at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. Is 7.5 too much to lay on Green Bay as a home favorite or will Denver’s offense sink the Broncos once again?

Denver Broncos Fantasy Spin
Courtland Sutton (ribs) will suit up for the Broncos’ Week 3 matchup against the Packers. Sutton didn’t practice Thursday, but got in a session on Friday and wasn’t listed on the team’s final injury report. He’s expected to continue to work as the offense’s No. 2 pass-game target behind Emmanuel Sanders. Still, this is a sneaky-tough spot against a vastly-improved Packers defense that has allowed a combined 19 points and 431 passing yards through two weeks. Sutton is best approached as a middling flex option
Green Bay Packers Fantasy Spin
Jimmy Graham (groin) is reportedly expected to be available for the Packers’ Week 3 matchup against the Broncos. Still, Graham didn’t return to practice until Friday this week, meaning a snap count is certainly a possibility. Graham has caught 3-of-6 targets for 30 yards and a score this season, functioning as one of fantasy’s most touchdown-dependent players. Anyone other than Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones and Davante Adams is best approached with caution inside of a Packers offense presently averaging a mediocre 4.3 yards per play.
NFL Betting Trends
Denver
The Broncos are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall and are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games.
Green Bay
The Packers are 4-1 against the number in their last five games played in the month of September.
Prediction
Aaron Rodgers is off to a slow start but there’s no reason to be concerned. He didn’t play this preseason and is learning a new system with Matt LaFleur taking over for the fired Mike McCarthy. At some point, Rodgers and the rest of Green Bay’s offense will click, and this team will be firing on all cylinders. The same positivity cannot be spread with the Broncos, however. Joe Flacco is every bit of the average quarterback he was the past couple of years in Baltimore and the Broncos just don’t have enough firepower on that side of the ball. With how the Packers have played defensively to start the year, I like Green Bay in a laugher on Sunday.
NFL Week 3 Prediction: Green Bay Packers -7.5
