Broncos vs. Ravens Free Pick
Two teams coming off winning weeks will square off this Sunday in Baltimore when the Ravens host the Broncos at 1:00PM ET. Read on to check out our pick for this Week 5 matchup.
Before we get to our pick for this game, let’s check out the current odds.
Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made the Ravens a 7-point home favorite over the Broncos in Week 5. The over/under total for this game has been set at 39.5 points.
Thanks to their upset win over the Titans last Sunday, the Broncos are now 2-2 on the year and 2-2 against the spread. They are 1-1 on the road this year, and 1-1 against the spread on the road, with that one win coming last weekend in Tennessee.
The Ravens are a stellar 3-1 overall this season and 2-2 against the spread. They beat the Browns in their only home game this season, but failed to cover as a double-digit favorite.
The Pick:
Baltimore is coming off two divisional games the past two weeks, which includes an emotional last-minute victory over the Steelers last Sunday in Pittsburgh. Now they’re favored by a touchdown against a non-divisional opponent at home.
My pick is Denver, which has played well the past three weeks and had they taken advantage of some key situations against the Colts two Sundays ago, they may be 3-1 right now. They also proved last week against the Titans that they can win on the road.
The Ravens are just 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games following an ATS win and 0-5 ATS in their last five games in week 5. The Broncos, meanwhile, are 4-0 against the spread in their last four October games and are 4-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record. Again, my pick is the Broncos plus the points.
