Broncos vs. Vikings Week 13 Odds
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (The Spread) – Can the Broncos continue to ride their defense and Tim Tebow all the way to the playoffs?
DENVER: Since Tebow took over under center, the Broncos are 5-1, which includes Denver’s 16-13 victory over the Chargers last Sunday. Thanks in large part to Tebow’s fourth quarter heroics and the Broncos’ outstanding defensive play, the team is now 6-5 overall and is just one game behind the Raiders in the AFC West. Denver is also 6-5 against the spread and has covered in five of its last six games. Rookie Von Miller leads the team with 10.5 sacks while second-year player Eric Decker has 527 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
MINNESOTA: The Vikings nearly pulled off a great comeback last Sunday against the Falcons, but eventually fell in Atlanta, 24-14. The loss dropped Minnesota’s record to 2-9 on the season and 4-5-2 against the spread, as it pushed as a 10-point underdog. Rookie Christian Ponder lads the team with 1,141 passing yards while Adrian Peterson has a team-high 12 touchdowns and 875 rushing yards. As of this writing, it is not known whether or not Peterson (ankle) will be healthy enough to play this week after missing last Sunday’s game against the Falcons.
