Cleveland Browns DFS Spin
Cleveland quarterback Deshaun Watson made his first start of the season against Houston last week. He struggled mightily, throwing for only 131 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 1 interception. He posted an abysmal QBR of 28.5. His track record would suggest that he should be better this week. That makes Cleveland wide receivers Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones intriguing DFS plays as they’ll be facing a Cincinnati pass defense that’s 14th in the NFL in opponent yards per passing attempt.
You should always consider using Browns running back Nick Chubb in DFS. Chubb is second in the NFL in rushing yards (1,119), second in rushing touchdowns (12), fourth in rushing attempts (217), and first in the NFL in runs of 20+ yards (12). Cincy’s defense is 14th in opponent yards per rushing attempt, making Chubb a top-tier option in DFS this weekend.
Cincinnati Bengals DFS Spin
Bengals QB Joe Burrow has established himself as a legitimate top-5 quarterback in the NFL. He was terrific in Cincy’s win over Kansas City last weekend (286 passing yards, 46 rushing yards, 3 total touchdowns) and he’s been great all season. Joe Burrow ranks second in the NFL In passing yards with 3,446, second in touchdown passes with 25, second in completion percentage at 69.1, and fifth in passer rating at 103.7. He is a must-start in DFS this weekend because he’s facing a Cleveland defense that ranks 17th in the NFL in opponent yards per pass attempt.
Cincinnati running back Joe Mixon sat out last week’s contest with a concussion, but he was a full practice participant Wednesday and is probable to play on Sunday. He was averaging 15.8 carries per game before he got hurt, and Bengals head coach Zac Taylor indicated that Mixon would regain his starting job this weekend. Mixon will have some value as he’s facing a Cleveland defense that is allowing 4.8 yards per rushing attempt this season, a figure that ranks 26th in the league.

Browns vs. Bengals Prediction:
The Cincinnati Bengals are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. They’ve won their last 4 games and have gone 6-1 in their last 7 contests. Their only loss in that span was a Monday night game on Halloween against this very Browns team. Cincinnati hasn’t lost a game since then and I don’t think they lose this game against a team quarterbacked by a rusty Deshaun Watson. The Bengals are sixth in the NFL with an average scoring margin of +4.8, while the Browns are 18th with an average scoring margin of -0.8. I think Cincinnati is the class of the AFC and think they’ll avenge their Halloween loss in a big way this weekend. I’ll lay the points with the Bengals.
