The Jaguars once again find themselves as heavy underdogs this Sunday when they host the Browns at 1:00 p.m. ET. After failing to cover last week as a 10.5-point home dog, will Jacksonville cover this time around as a 7-point pup?

Baker Mayfield completed 12-of-22 passes for 204 yards in the Browns’ Week 11 win over the Eagles. It’s the third straight game without a touchdown for Mayfield, who had been playing through weather conditions the last two weeks. Mayfield didn’t need to do much with Carson Wentz gifting the Browns an early lead with a pick-six. When Mayfield did throw, he was effective, averaging 9.3 YPA on his 12 completions. Mayfield has a favorable spot against a Jacksonville secondary that will be missing C.J. Henderson in Week 12.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said Mike Glennon will start Week 12 against the Browns. Glennon will replace Jake Luton after Luton threw four interceptions in a loss to the Steelers last week. Gardner Minshew (thumb) isn’t ready to return, clearing the way for Glennon to start. Benching a rookie for a 30-year-old journeyman with a career 60% completion-percentage is a win now move for a team competing for the No. 1 pick. This will likely be a one week spot start for Glennon.

Browns vs. Jaguars Betting Prediction

The Browns are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus the Jaguars and are 1-9 against the number in their last 10 road games. Cleveland is also winless at the betting window in its last five games as a road favorite, is 0-4 against the number in its last four conference games and is 7-20-1 ATS in its last 28 games played in November. The Browns are also 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games versus an opponent with a losing home record and have failed to cover in five of their last seven games when facing a team with a losing record.
