Cleveland Browns DFS Spin

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Baker Mayfield (ribs) will start Week 6 against the Steelers. As expected. Mayfield is clearly banged up following last week’s hard hit in the fourth quarter but the Browns have nowhere else to turn. He’s an easy player to avoid in fantasy (outside of SuperFlex leagues) since he’s averaged 3.9 YPA under pressure and the Steelers have continued to blitz at the league’s highest rate.

Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin

Ben Roethlisberger completed 27-of-34 passes for 239 yards and three scores in the Steelers’ Week 5 win over the Eagles. Roethlisberger was able to connect with rookie Chase Claypool deep on multiple occasions. Roethlisberger looked for easy completions during much of the game but made his shots to Claypool count. He hit Claypool on two passes of 30 or more yards and his new favorite target finished the day with 110 yards and three scores through the air. The Steelers’ line gave Roethlisberger a clean pocket for most of the game. He was only sacked once on 35 dropbacks. Because he offers nothing with his legs, Roethlisberger needs multiple scores to enter QB1 territory in any given week. That could happen again as he faces the Browns in a divisional game next week.

Browns vs. Steelers Betting Prediction

The home team has covered the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams while the Browns are just 1-3-1 against the number in their last five trips to Pittsburgh. Cleveland is also 0-4 against the number in its last four divisional games, is 1-7 against the number in its last eight road games and is 7-23-2 ATS in its last 32 games versus an opponent with a winning record. On the other side, the Steelers are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games, are 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 games coming off a successful cover in their previous contest and are 7-3 at the betting window in their last 10 divisional matchups.

NFL WEEK 6 BETTING PREDICTION: PITTSBURGH STEELERS -3.5
