The Bucs are coming off a 27-17 loss to the Falcons at home. Tampa Bay has now lost five straight, three of which were decided by six points or less. The Bucs are struggling on both sides of the ball, averaging just 311.6 yards per game on offense while giving up 391.2 yards per game on defense. Josh McCown has returned to the lineup at quarterback and he has thrown for 721 yards and four touchdowns this season, but has missed a lot of time with a hand injury. Rookie receiver Mike Evans is leading the offense with 39 receptions for 585 yards and five touchdowns while Gerald McCoy is leading the defense with 22 tackles and five sacks.
Washington is coming off the bye last week, but suffered a 29-26 loss to the Vikings prior to that, snapping a two-game win streak. Washington’s offense is averaging 386.9 yards per game this year while the defense is holding opponents to just 333.3 yards per game. Robert Griffin III has thrown for 556 yards and one touchdown in limited action this season while Alfred Morris has rushed for 605 yards and six scores. The defense is led by Ryan Kerrigan, who has 38 tackles with 7.5 sacks.
In terms of Injuries, Washington nose tackle Barry Cofield (ankle) is day-to-day. Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin (ankle) and tackle Anthony Collins (foot) are both questionable.
