Rob Gronkowski Super Bowl Player Prop Preview
Gronkowski has caught two or fewer passes in five straight games and in nine of his past 11 games. That said, he’s also tied for the team lead with 16 end zone targets, making him a threat to score a touchdown on Sunday as Tom Brady and the Bucs draw closer to the end zone.
The presence of Cameron Brate could keep Gronk’s production low on Sunday. Brate has 29 receptions on 38 targets over those same 11 games that Gronk finished with 21 receptions on 44 targets. Brate has also seen more targets (17) than Gronk (7) this postseason, including one more target in the end zone (3-2).
Thus, I like the idea of rolling the dice on Gronk catching a touchdown pass against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but the under is the play for several of the tight end’s other prop odds.
