Tampa Bay Bucs DFS Spin
Chris Godwin (hip/knee) is not on Tampa’s final Week 6 injury report. Godwin practiced in full on Friday after getting a rest day on Thursday. As annoying as it was that his snaps were limited in the second half against the Falcons last week, the Steelers are on a full slate of backup cornerbacks and Tom Brady made his press appearance wearing a Godwin shirt. He’s in an potential eruption spot this week.
Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) will not play in Week 6 against the Buccaneers. He hadn’t practiced all week with the knee injury despite apparently playing through it in Week 5. Perhaps he aggravated it. It’s a big downgrade for Pittsburgh’s defense and opens up some smooth sailing for the middle-of-field passing game for Tom Brady and company. All three of Pittsburgh’s starting cornerbacks from the start of the season have been ruled out as well.
Bucs vs. Steelers Betting Trends
The Steelers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games
The Steelers are 2-4-1 ATS as underdogs in their last 7 games
The Buccaneers are 20-6 as favorites in their last 26 games
Bucs vs. Steelers Prediction:
With 350-plus passing yards in back-to-back games, Brady is starting to heat up. He’s one shy of tying the longest streak of his career and his 34:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio versus Pittsburgh is the second-best by any quarterback versus a single opponent in NFL history. The Bucs defense is going to eat up rookie Kenny Pickett too, as their 72.52 defensive efficiency this season is the third-best in the NFL. Good luck trying to slow down Mike Evans and Co. without Fitzpatrick, Steelers.
