Bills 2012-13 Season Odds
BUFFALO, NY (The Spread) – It’s been eight years since the Buffalo Bills last finished with an above-.500 record. Can they accomplish the feat in 2012?
Oddsmakers have installed the Bills as 50/1 long shots to win the 2013 Super Bowl and 25/1 to win the 2013 AFC Championship. They’re also 6/1 to win the AFC East Division this season and have an over/under total of 8 for number of wins in the regular season.
The Bills made perhaps the biggest splash in free agency by signing former Houston defensive end Mario Williams to a massive six-year contract in mid-March. They also added another pass-rusher in Mark Anderson, who should compliment Williams well on Buffalo’s improving defense.
Speaking of defense, the Bills added one of the best cornerback prospects in this year’s draft in South Carolina defensive back Stephon Gilmore. In the second round Buffalo added Georgia offensive lineman Cordy Glenn and in the third the Bills took N.C. State wide receiver T.J. Graham.
The biggest question surrounding this Buffalo team is whether or not it can win with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. He got off to a hot start last year only to see his production fall off a cliff after he signed a contract extension. It would seem as though the Bills will only go as far as Fitzgerald takes them, regardless of the fact that their defense has greatly improved and their offense features a nice young core in Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller and Stevie Johnson.

2013 Super Bowl: 50/1
2013 AFC Championship: 25/1
