Newton, Brady co-favored to win SB MVP
With the NFL playoffs starting this weekend, oddsmakers released prop odds on which player will win the Super Bowl 50 MVP.

Oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu currently list Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton and Patriots’ signal-caller Tom Brady as co-favorites to win the Super Bowl 50 MVP award at 3/1 odds. Cardinals’ QB Carson Palmer has the next best odds at 5/1, while Russell Wilson of the Seahawks is 6/1.
The next-best odds also belong to quarterbacks, as Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger is 12/1 to win the Super Bowl 50 MVP and Denver’s Peyton Manning is 15/1. Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers are both 18/1, respectively, while Andy Dalton of the Bengals is 20/1.
The first non-quarterback to have odds is Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who is also 20/1. Running backs David Johnson of Arizona and Marshawn Lynch of Seattle are both 22/1, respectively, while receivers Antonio Brown of Pittsburgh and Demaryius Thomas of Denver are 25/1, respectively. Carolina tight end Greg Olsen is also 25/1.
The rest of the Super Bowl 50 MVP odds are as follows: Kirk Cousins and A.J. Green at 30/1, Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater at 40/1, Brian Hoyer, J.J. Watt and Charcandrick West at 50/1, Eddie Lacy at 60/1 and Jordan Reed at 10/1. The field has also given odds at 3/1 and would encompass any player that has not been mentioned.
