According to oddsmakers at RealBets, San Diego is favored at home today, as the Chargers are getting odds of -1 point against the Dolphins tonight. The over/under total for the game has been set at 46 points. These two meet today at 4:25PM ET and the game airs live on CBS.

Rivers is currently third in the NFL in passing yards at 3,976 yards. He also has 23 touchdowns with 10 interceptions as he is likely to secure his third-straight 4,000-yard passing season today. Despite his good numbers, the Chargers are only 3-10 overall and 5-8 against the spread. Today San Diego faces a Miami team that is 5-8 overall and 4-9 against the spread. The Dolphins have struggled against the pass, allowing 261.8 yards per game, which ranks 26th in the NFL.

Oddsmakers have set Rivers’ over/under for today’s game at 306.5 passing yards. That may seem quite lofty, but Rivers does that quite frequently. He has thrown for over 300 yards in seven games this season, including one 400-yard game and one 500-yard game. The Dolphins have also given up over 305 passing yards in their last two games, against the Giants and Ravens. While Eli Manning is a solid QB, the Ravens pulled off 308 passing yards with Matt Schaub. If Schaub can do it, certainly Rivers can.
