Will Wilson air it out today?
The Arizona Cardinals need a win today to have a shot at home field in the playoffs, but can they slow down Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks?
According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Arizona is favored at home in this game, as the Cardinals are getting odds of -6.5 points against the Seahawks. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 47 points. These two meet today at 4:25PM ET on FOX.
The Cardinals (13-2, 9-6 ATS) have at least the No. 2 seed locked up but a win today combined with a Carolina loss to Tampa gives them the top seed. To do that, they must stop the Seahawks (9-6, 7-7 ATS) and Wilson. Wilson has had a very good second-half to the season and oddsmakers think he will do good things today against Arizona, as his over/under for passing yards is listed at 252.5 and his over/under for passing TDs is set at 2.
Wilson has thrown for 3,827 yards and 31 touchdowns this season and he is on a big run as of late, throwing for at least 249 yards and two touchdowns in six straight games. He has 21 touchdown passes over these last six games and has completed at least 70 percent of his passes in five of them. When Wilson met the Cardinals at home back on Nov. 15, he had just 240 yards with one touchdown. Arizona does come into the game with the seventh-ranked pass defense, allowing just 231.9 yards per game. With Seattle not having much to play for, the Seahawks good look to keep Wilson safe today.
