According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Carolina is favored at home, as the Panthers are getting odds of -3 points against the Cardinals. The over/under total has been set at 47.5 points. These two meet tonight at 6:40PM ET on FOX.

Palmer has managed to defy age this season for the Cardinals (14-3, 9-8 ATS), as he has led Arizona to the NFC Championship at 36. The 13-year NFL veteran has had the best season of his career in 2015, passing for a career-high 4,671 yards and 35 touchdowns with just 11 interceptions while completing 63.7 percent of his passes. He also did this while coming back from a major knee injury in 2014. In last week’s win over the Packers, Palmer went 25 of 41 passing for 349 yards with three touchdowns.

Today, Palmer faces a very tough defense in the Panthers (16-1, 12-5 ATS), who rank sixth in the NFL in total D, allowing only 322.9 yards per game. Carolina, however, is just 11th in pass defense, giving up 234.5 yards per game through the air. Oddsmakers have listed Palmer with an over/under of 286.5 passing yards and 2 touchdown passes in this game. The Panthers have allowed 287 yards passing or more in six games this season, including their last three games. Palmer has had at least 287 yards in 10 games this season and he has had multiple TD passes in 12 games. Palmer will likely have to put up good numbers if Arizona is going to reach the Super Bowl.
