Los Angeles Chargers DFS Spin
Justin Herbert (hand) was upgraded to “full” Thursday. There has seemingly been zero concern about Herbert’s hand from either the Chargers press or coaching staff, so we are guessing he will be unencumbered against the Eagles as he attempts to bounce back from back-to-back poor starts. Despite Darius Slay’s presence, the Eagles’ defense is ripe for the picking.
Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
Jalen Hurts completed 9-of-14 passes for 103 yards and rushed seven times for 71 yards in Week 8 against the Lions. Hurts led the offense to five scoring drives before getting rested in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s blowout. The Eagles didn’t need to pass with Detroit struggling to stop the run, leading to a floor game for Hurts. It’s the third time this season Hurts has been held without a passing touchdown, but the rushing yards were his most since Week 2. Hurts and the Eagles will host the Chargers in Week 9.
Chargers vs. Eagles Betting Prediction
The over is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams, is 4-1 in the Chargers’ last five games in November and is 4-0 in their last four road games when facing an opponent with a losing home record. On the other side, the over is 5-1 in the Eagles’ last six games played in Week 9.
