Los Angeles Chargers DFS Spin
Joey Bosa left the Chargers’ Week 18 game against the Broncos with an unspecified injury. CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin believes Bosa may have aggravated the groin injury that required surgery this season. Bosa was seen on the LA sideline getting attention from medical staff and grimacing after at least two plays in which he nearly sacked Russell Wilson. Why head coach Brandon Staley played his injury-marred EDGE rusher in a meaningless Week 18 game, we’ll never know. But without Bosa, the Chargers defense has had consistent trouble pressuring the passer.
Jacksonville Jaguars DFS Spin
Zay Jones caught 4-of-6 targets for 21 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 18 win over the Titans. Jones simply couldn’t find room to operate against the swarming Tennessee defense on a night the Jaguars somehow managed to run under 50 offensive plays from scrimmage. Jones, Christian Kirk, and Evan Engram continue to take turns as the featured option on a now-potent pass offense as the Jaguars get set to host the Chargers in the wildcard round. Only a Ravens upset of the Bengals on Sunday could force a different wildcard opponent.
