Los Angeles Chargers DFS Spin
Chargers ruled out RB Austin Ekeler, LB Eric Kendricks, and LB Chris Rumph for Week 2 against the Titans. This was thought to be the case during the latter half of the week after Ekeler failed to practice in any capacity. Joshua Kelley is on hand to absorb additional work out of the backfield after filling in admirably on the two drives Ekeler missed in Week 1. Start Kelley with little regard to matchup if you grabbed him from waivers earlier in the week.
Tennessee Titans DFS Spin
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports DeAndre Hopkins (ankle, questionable) is expected to be active for Week 2 against the Chargers. Hopkins didn’t practice this week, so there is a real concern he ends up something of a decoy vs. the Bolts. Hopkins hasn’t been particularly effective at less than 100 percent health as he has aged, either. The Chargers’ pass defense looked horrendous in Week 1, but Hopkins will be a risky WR2 in his current state.

Chargers vs. Titans Prediction:
Give me L.A. The Chargers haven’t started 0-2 since 2017 and while they’ve allowed 30-plus points in each of their first two games of a season three previous teams, I don’t they surrender that many today against an ineffective Tennessee offense. Yes, the Titans have Derrick Henry, but they’re also led by a turnover-prone Ryan Tannehill. No, the Bolts won’t have the highly dangerous Austin Ekeler (hamstring injury), but the Titans have also lost eight straight games dating back to Week 12 of last season. They’re also 2-7 in home openers since 2014, which is the second worst record in the NFL over that span (the Giants are 2-8).
