Patrick Mahomes SB Prop Predictions
Is it a safe bet that Patrick Mahomes will go over his Super Bowl 55 player props for passing yards, attempts and touchdowns? Or will the Bucs’ stout defense relatively contain the Chiefs’ signal-caller on Sunday?

Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl 55 Player Prop Predictions
It’s easy to just take the over when it comes to Mahomes’ props because the quarterback is always a threat to go off, just as he did in the AFC Championship Game versus the Bills. In that game, Mahomes completed 29-of-38 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns. That said, I also think the game script will lead to Mahomes having a big game versus the Bucs on Sunday.
In the first meeting between these two teams, Mahomes completed 37-of-49 passes for 462 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed four times for 28 yards while playing 79 total snaps.
One of the reasons why the Chiefs threw the ball as much as they did versus the Bucs in Week 12 is because Tampa Bay has one of the best run defenses in the league. Even if they play to run more, it’s unlikely the Chiefs will cause a lot of damage on the ground today versus stout DT Vita Vea and the rest of the Bucs’ outstanding front seven.
Thus, I see Mahomes attempting another 45-plus passes tonight in Tampa. If that happens, he’ll have plenty of opportunity to go over in yards, attempts and completions.
Passing Yards: Over 325.5
Pass Attempts: Over 42.5
Pass Completions: Over 28.5
