Jalen Hurts Super Bowl 57 Player Prop Predictions
Under 49.5 Rushing Yards
Hurts has the ability to gain 50 yards with ease tonight against the Chiefs, but he only went over his rushing prop in seven of his 17 games this season, including playoffs. In fact, in his last three games, his rushing totals were 39, 34 and 13 yards, respectively. A shoulder injury hasn’t increased Hurts’ rushing totals and he hasn’t eclipsed 50 yards rushing since running for 61 yards versus the Bears on December 18.
Under 249.5 Passing Yards
If you like the Chiefs tonight, one of the reasons could be because Hurts hasn’t exactly lit it up threw the air. He threw for only 121 yards passing versus the Niners in the NFC Championship Game and settled for 154 passing yards versus the Giants in the Divisional round. Granted, the Eagles built a big lead in both games and didn’t need to throw much in the second half, but the bottom line is that Hurts hasn’t eclipsed 249.5 yards passing in a game since December 18 against the Bears (he threw for 315 yards that day). In his 17 games played this season including postseason, Hurts went over just five times on his passing prop.
Anytime Touchdown -105
I do, however, like Hurts to score a rushing touchdown today. He scored at least one rushing touchdowns in 11 of his 17 games this season, including one apiece versus the Niners (NFC Championship) and Giants (Divisional round), respectively. In fact, over his last five games, Hurts scored at least one rushing touchdown in all but one of those games (Week 18 vs. the Giants) and even tallied three rushing scores versus the Bears in Week 17.
