Kansas City Chiefs DFS Spin

Kadarius Toney (toe) was removed from the Week 4 injury report and will play against the Jets. Toney was limited in practice throughout the week but avoided a questionable tag. His light practice sessions were likely nothing more than maintenance. Toney has remained in a limited role to start the season and will need to see more routes to be a viable fantasy option. He is buried beyond the WR5 range for Week 4.

New York Jets DFS Spin

Breece Hall (knee) was upgraded to “full” for Thursday’s practice. The Jets are continuing to limit Hall’s practice reps, but it’s not affecting him on Sundays. If only the same thing were true of his quarterback. With the Jets operating as huge home ‘dogs against the Chiefs, negative game script will take the day in New Jersey, making it difficult for Hall to get home as an RB2.

The Chiefs are 5-0 SU in their last 5 games on the road

Kansas City is 10-1 SU in its last 11 games

The total has gone UNDER in 7 of NY Jets’s last 8 games

The Over/Under has gone UNDER in 6 of NY Jets’s last 7 games at home

Chiefs vs. Jets Prediction:

Take Kansas City. This is the ‘give up’ game for the Jets. You can see it coming from a mile away. The defense has had enough of Zach Wilson’s play and even some of the quarterback’s offensive mates have had enough (see Hall, Breece). This is what happened a year ago to the Jets. They were playing outstanding defense and running the ball well, but Wilson would lose games for them with his carelessness. He doesn’t have it and at some point, Robert Saleh will turn the offense over to Trevor Siemian, who was signed earlier this week.

The Jets have enough defensively to keep this game close tonight, even against Patrick Mahomes and the high-powered Chiefs. But the moment Wilson turns the ball over or goes three-and-out for a third consecutive possession, New York’s defense will wilt. It’s inevitable. Once that happens, Kansas City might put 40 on the board.

Chiefs vs. Jets NFL Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs -9.5
