Kansas City Chiefs DFS Spin
Patrick Mahomes completed 29-of-42 passes for 328 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Chiefs’ 27-24, Week 17 win over the Broncos, adding four rushes for eight yards. The game played surprisingly tight throughout, leading to a necessary fourth quarter comeback win to stay on track in the hunt for the top playoff seed out of the AFC. A second quarter Mahomes interception saw the Broncos snatch the lead, which was answered by the first of two Jerick McKinnon receiving touchdowns. The Broncos would reclaim the lead half way through the third quarter on a 25-yard strike to Albert Okwuegbunam, forcing the fourth quarter surge from the Chiefs. Mahomes was up to the task, tossing fourth quarter touchdowns to tight end Blake Bell and running back Jerick McKinnon to secure the victory. Mahomes and the Chiefs travel to Las Vegas to face the Raiders in Week 18 with a chance at the number one seed in the AFC a possibility, dependent on the outcome of the Bills and Bengals game on Monday night.
Las Vegas Raiders DFS Spin
Josh Jacobs (hip, oblique) is questionable for Week 18 against the Chiefs. Jacobs has been questionable with a variety of ailments the past few weeks and has yet to miss a game. He missed two practices this week for personal reasons. Although the Raiders have “nothing to play for,” 24-year-old Jacobs is in the lead for the league’s rushing title as he prepares for free agency. We would expect him to be out there and handle his normal workload against the Chiefs.
