Cutler back in for the Bears
CHICAGO, IL (The Spread) – The Chicago Bears will have Jay Cutler under center once again, as he gets the start against the Minnesota Vikings because of an injury.
Cutler was benched for Jimmy Clausen heading into last week’s game with the Detroit Lions, but Clausen suffered a concussion during the 20-14 loss and will be unable to play this week. Chicago coach Marc Trestman announced that Cutler will get the start on Monday morning.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv the Vikings are the favorite heading into Sunday’s game at home, as they are getting odds of -7 points against Cutler and the Bears. The over/under total has yet to be set in this one. This game has no playoff implications.
Cutler has thrown for 3,640 yards and 28 touchdowns this season to lead the Chicago offense. Turnovers have been one of his biggest issues, as he has 18 interceptions and 12 fumbles. His last start saw him throw for just 194 yards with three interceptions and two touchdowns.
