Colts banged up on the O-line?
FOXBOROUGH, MA (The Spread) – If the Indianapolis Colts are going to beat the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship, Andrew Luck is going to need protection. Does he have a healthy line heading into the game?
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, the Patriots are favored to win Sunday’s AFC Championship when they face the Colts, as New England is getting odds of -6.5 points at home. (View Matchup). The over/under total for this championship game has been set at 53.5 points. These two will meet on Sunday at 6:40PM ET.
When looking at the injuries in this game, the Colts have some concerns on the offensive line, especially at center. Centers Jonotthan Harrison (concussion) and A.Q. Shipley (ankle) are listed as questionable. The two have 15 starts between them at the position and obviously deliver the ball to Luck, so a lack of continuity at that position could cause problems for the Colts’ offense on Sunday. Khaled Holmes will get the start if they are unable to play.
The Patriots come in pretty healthy, but also have a center who is questionable. Bryan Stork, who has started 11 games, is listed as questionable due to a knee injury. The injury occurred in last week’s win over the Ravens. Cornerback Brandon Browner is listed on the injury report with a knee issue, but is probable to play, as is running back Jonas Gray, who has an ankle injury that has sidelined him for the last two games.
