Daniel Herron Prop Odds
FOXBOROUGH, MA (The Spread) – Daniel Herron has emerged late in the season as a steady running back for the Colts. Can he make a big impact in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game?
According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Herron has been given over/under odds of 57.5 rushing yards and 14.5 rushing attempts. His odds for scoring a touchdown has been set at +145. The Colts will meet the Patriots in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game at 6:40PM ET on CBS.
Herron rushed for 351 yards and one touchdown on 78 carries during the regular season for the Colts. He only started to get steady action over the second half of the season and he ended up with 12 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals while running for 63 yards on a career-high 23 carries with one touchdown in last week’s win over the Broncos. Herron didn’t play in the Colts’ 42-20 loss at home to the Patriots on Nov. 16.
Herron has only rushed for 58 yards or more in four games this season and he has only been given 15 carries or more in just last week’s playoff win over the Broncos. He has scored a touchdown in four difference games, but has reach the end zone in both playoff games this year. Herron meets up with a decent rushing defense, as the Patriots rank ninth in the league, allowing just 104.3 yards per game on the ground.
