Colts vs. Jaguars NFL Week 13 Predictions Against the Spread 12/3/17

Colts vs. Jaguars Prediction

Are the Jacksonville Jaguars overpriced in Week 13? The Jags will host the Indianapolis Colts at 1:00 p.m. ET and are heavy favorites to beat their AFC South counterparts.

Who Oddsmakers Like: Jacksonville. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Jaguars are 9-point home favorites to beat the Colts, who opened as 8.5-point underdogs. As for the total, the number currently sits at 40.5 points after hitting the board at 41.

Who the Public Likes: Indianapolis. As of Sunday morning, the Colts are receiving 53% of the tickets at the betting window.

Who the Trends Like: Jacksonville. The favorite has cashed in 10 of the last 14 meetings between these two teams overall. The Colts, meanwhile, are 0-5 at the betting window in their last five games versus the Jaguars.

Who We Like: Indianapolis. The Colts have been competitive as an underdog this season. They failed to cover last week as a 3-point home dog versus the Titans but covered as an underdog in their three previous games. In fact, as an underdog of seven or more points this year, Indy is 4-2 against the spread.

The Colts are also 32-12 against the spread in their last 44 games coming off a loss and 8-3 at the betting window in their last 11 games coming off an ATS loss. On the other side, the Jaguars are just 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 home games and have failed to cover in five of their last seven home games versus a team with a losing road record.

The Jaguars feel a little overpriced, especially considering how they lost a week ago to Blaine Gabbert and the banged-up Cardinals. In that game, Blake Bortles threw a horrendous interception late in the game to seal the Jaguars’ fate. If Indy can stifle Leonard Fournette and Jacksonville’s running game like Arizona did, then I like Bortles to turn the ball over once or twice and keep the Colts in the game.
