Commanders vs. Lions Same Game Parlay: Will Jayden Daniels throw multiple TD passes?

Commanders Player Prop Trends Commanders Player Prop Trends

Will Jayden Daniels throw multiple touchdown passes in his second playoff game of his career? Will Jared Goff and the Lions offense go off? Read on for our Commanders vs. Lions Same Game Parlay prediction.

Commanders vs. Lions Same Game Parlay: Jayden Daniels over 1.5 Pass Touchdowns

Daniels looked like the same player last week in Tampa Bay as he did at LSU, which is meant as a compliment. It didn’t matter that he was a rookie starting his first playoff game on the road: He was the same dynamic player against the Bucs as he was against the SEC in his final year with the Tigers. He’s that good.

Daniels threw for 7.7 yards per pass attempt, which was his highest since Week 9. He also threw two touchdown passes, which was the sixth time he’s accomplished the feat when playing the full game. I believe Detroit will either a) take away Washington’s rushing attack on its own or b) force the Commanders to throw tonight to either stay or get back into the game. That should provide plenty of opportunities for the future Rookie of the Year to throw multiple touchdown passes.

Commanders vs. Lions Same Game Parlay: Lions over 33.5 Points

I don’t see the Lions scoring fewer than 34 points in this game. While Baker Mayfield and the Bucs didn’t take full advantage of their matchup with the Commanders last weekend, that will not be the case tonight in Detroit. The Lions own the league’s best offense and are well rested. They had multiple weeks to put together a game plan that will have the home crowd remaining in a frenzy all night.

The Lions have scored at least 31 points in five straight games. In two of those five contests, they scored 40 or more points. The Commanders, who struggled defensively throughout the season, will have to pick their poison tonight. Jahmyr Gibbs has gashed teams with his explosiveness all season. Amon-Ra St. Brown has been uncoverable at times. Tight end Sam LaPorta didn’t match his rookie season performance of a year ago, but can destroy single coverage and is a red zone threat. Jameson Williams is a home run hitter, capable of taking the top off a defense in a moment’s notice.

This Lions team will score at will tonight.

Commanders vs. Lions Same Game Parlay: Jared Goff over 274.5 Passing Yards

Goff finished under his passing yards two weeks against the Vikings when he only threw for 231 of the 284.5 yards needed to cash the over. That said, he had gone over his passing total in four consecutive games before falling short of Minnesota. More importantly for tonight’s prop, Goff has thrown for at least 275 yards in four out of his last five games, with the lone exception coming in Week 18 against Minnesota.

When the Commanders have not pressured an opposing quarterback, they have allowed 7.8 yards per pass attempt, which ranks 27th in the league. Washington also plays a lot of man coverage. Goff leads the league with a 141.1 rating, completing 72.2% of his passes for 9.4 yards per attempt with 15 touchdowns and zero interceptions against man coverage. He should flourish tonight.
