Taylor could be fit in Cleveland
Could current Bills Tyrod Taylor be a fit for the quarterback-needy Browns next season?
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that new Browns quarterbacks coach David Lee likes Taylor “a lot” after the two worked together in Buffalo the past two seasons. Cabt says Lee “would welcome the opportunity to continue working with” Taylor if the Browns were to acquire him this NFL offseason.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Browns have the longest odds of any of the 32 NFL teams to win the Super Bowl in 2018. Actually, they’re tied for the longest odds with the 49ers, who are also 300/1 to win it all next season. Cleveland is also 150/1 to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl next year, which are the longest odds of any of the teams in that conference.
Taylor’s future in Buffalo is up in the air. He admitted before the Super Bowl in February that he isn’t sure what the future holds for him, although he would prefer to stay with the Bills. He’s reportedly waiting for word from “management” about his status for next season. He’s also rehabbing after undergoing groin surgery in January.

According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, Taylor is not open to a contract restructure, which could complicate things if he wants to stay in Buffalo. He signed a six-year, $92 million deal last August and he’s due $30.5 million guaranteed in 2017 if the Bulls pick up his option. Unless he restructures, it’s likely the Bills will move on and allow Taylor to test the free agent market.
