According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the Cowboys are the current favorites to land Manziel at “EVEN” odds. (The odds are based on Manziel being on that team’s roster for the 2016 season.) The Rams have the next best odds at 4/1, while the Browns are 5/1 and the Eagles are 6/1. The 49ers also have odds of 9/1, while the Texans are 15/1, the Bears and Patriots and 25/1, the Dolphins are 30/1 and “Any CFL team” is 40/1.

Sources tell Yahoo’s Charles Robinson that Manziel would “love” to end up in Dallas. Per Robinson’s sources, “there is a real possibility (or hope) that team owner Jerry Jones will make that dream happen.” Jones, of course, wanted to draft Manziel in 2014 but was talked out of the decision.

Manziel is signed with Cleveland through 2017 and there’s a club option in his contract for 2018. He wouldn’t become a free agent until 2019 but given his off-field antics there has been growing speculation that the Browns will move on from the 23-year-old signal-caller this offseason. The team fired coach Mike Pettine and GM Ray Farmer following the end of the regular season and the front office might not be able to convince a desired coaching candidate to keep Manziel as the starter.
