Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin
Dak Prescott completed 14-of-37 passes for 128 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Cowboys’ 26-6, Week 18 loss to the Commanders. Prescott and the Cowboys played like their punter had contract incentives to meet. The Cowboys had nine three-and-outs on the day, as Prescott finished the afternoon with a paltry 3.5 YPA and a 45.8 quarterback rating. His first touchdown on the day was a pick-six by Kendall Fuller after Fuller narrowly missed a pick-six on the previous play, but Dak would find CeeDee Lamb for a 15-yard score to close out the first half. With the NFC East title potentially on the line, the Cowboys looked about as unprepared as any team has all season. They’ve already secured a spot in the playoffs, but this week’s performance does little to instill confidence that they can make a deep run in the post season.
Tampa Bay Bucs DFS Spin
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports there is “a chance” Tom Brady does not return to the Buccanneers for the 2023 season. Brady is a free agent at the end of the year. He could, once again, hang up the cleats or he may look to switch teams once again. Rapoport listed the Bucs, 49ers, Titans, and Raiders as franchises that would consider signing Brady. If the Bucs make a deep run in the playoffs, Brady would probably consider running it back another time in Tampa Bay. However, a quick postseason exit on Monday could cause the 45-year-old quarterback to look for a new home in the spring.
