Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin
Tony Pollard (thigh) is not on Dallas final Week 18 injury report against the Commanders. He practiced in full all week and should be locked in as an RB2 against a Commanders team starting Sam Howell in Week 18. It appears Dallas just rested Pollard in Week 17. With Dallas having a ton of motivation and a possible blow-up game script for Pollard, it wouldn’t be surprising if he had RB1 numbers this week.
Washington Commanders DFS Spin
Brian Robinson (knee) has been ruled out for Week 18 against the Cowboys. Robinson reportedly has a thigh contusion and swelling around the knee he injured last week against the Browns. Jonathan Williams profiles as the Commanders’ lead back with both Robinson and Antonio Gibson out for the regular season finale against Dallas. Williams could see a hefty workload as the only viable backfield option for Washington. Robinson finishes his rookie year with a 205/729/2 rushing line and a 9/60/1 receiving line despite missing the first four weeks of the season due to getting shot in an armed robbery. It is likely that Robinson will enter 2023 as the early-downs part of a committee in Washington, which should put him in the RB2/RB3 tier depending on how things shake out with Washington’s offense. Overall, it was a highly successful rookie season for the third-round pick.

The home team is 7-3 against the spread in the last 10 meetings between these two teams, whereas the Cowboys are just 1-3-1 against the number in their last five road games. Dallas is also 1-8 against the spread in its last nine January games and 1-4-1 against the number in its last six games coming off a win. Even though the Cowboys have plenty to play for today in Washington, if the Eagles are up big against the Giants (which is possible given that New York is expected to play mostly backups today), then what’s stopping the ‘Boys from pulling their starters early? I’m taking the points.
