Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin
Cowboys LB Micah Parsons (groin) is off the team’s final injury report for Week 6. Fully practicing on Friday, Parsons will play and lead the Dallas defense into a tough matchup against the high-flying Eagles. He already has six sacks and seven tackles for loss in five games this season. This might be the best strength-on-strength matchup in the NFL this week.
Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
Miles Sanders rushes 15 times for 58 scoreless yards in the Eagles’ Week 5 win over the Cardinals, adding two receptions for six additional yards. Sanders once again dominated snaps in the Eagles’ backfield, but game script was not as friendly as it was during Sanders’ career Week 4 performance. He was also, as usual, vultured for a pair of one-yard scores by Jalen Hurts. The Eagles’ offense just wasn’t that crisp this afternoon, short-circuiting drives and limiting Sanders’ compiling opportunities. It must be noted that Hurts called his own number 16 times. That remains Sanders’ biggest impediment to consistent high-end RB2 value. The Cowboys are a tough Week 6 matchup for the entire offense.
Cowboys vs. Eagles Betting Trends
Cowboys are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings in Philadelphia
Under is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Philadelphia
Cowboys are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings
Cowboys vs. Eagles Prediction:
As the above trends note, the Cowboys have had a ton of ATS success versus the Eagles in previous meetings but I’m still backing Philadelphia tonight. The favorite cashed in 10 of the previous 13 meetings between these two teams and the Eagles are 4-1-1 against the spread in their last six home games. With the way Hurts gets the ball out of his hands quickly, the Eagles should be able to somewhat neutralize the pass rush of the Cowboys and force Cooper Rush to play from behind for one of the few times since he took over for the injured Dak Prescott. This is the game when everyone is reminded of why Prescott is the starter in Dallas, despite Rush’s win/loss success.
NFL WEEK 6 PREDICTION: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES -6.5
