Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin
Andy Dalton has targeted the Cowboys’ top-three receivers almost evenly this season. Amari Cooper has the slight target edge with Dalton under center, drawing 56 targets. Michael Gallup, meanwhile, has 53 targets, and CeeDee Lamb has 54. Dalton’s adjusted yards per attempt when targeting Cooper and Gallup has been almost identical. Dalton has provided a major fantasy boost for Gallup, who was the odd man out when Dak Prescott was lighting the league aflame in the season’s first six weeks. Gallup leads the team in targets over the past four weeks. He should be considered a high-end WR3 with upside in Week 17 against the Giants.
New York Giants DFS Spin
Daniel Jones completed 24-of-41 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ 27-13 Week 16 loss to the Ravens, adding one rush for three yards. A completely immobile Jones faced nonstop pressure from Baltimore’s front seven. He was sacked six times in pass-heavy game script. Clearly not over his ankle and hamstring issues, Jones couldn’t scramble or even dodge oncoming defenders. The Giants offense did next to nothing until the fourth quarter, when the Ravens — up multiple scores — fell back into a softer defense. With his rushing production reduced to nothing, Jones will only be viable in superflex leagues next week against Dallas.
Cowboys vs. Giants Betting Prediction
The Cowboys are 6-1 against the spread in the last seven meetings with the Giants, while the favorite has covered in five of the previous seven series meetings. Dallas is also 5-2 against the spread in its last seven games overall and has cashed in four of its last five games when facing an opponent with a losing record.
On the other side, the Giants are just 8-22-1 against the spread in their last 31 home games, are 1-4 against the number in their last five games overall and have dropped a staggering 14 of their last 17 games when listed as a home underdog.
