Tony Pollard (foot) is questionable for Week 14 against the Football Team. Pollard once again did not practice on Friday, making it appear highly unlikely he is ready to face Washington. Even so, the Cowboys continue to call him a game-time decision. Pollard sitting would put Ezekiel Elliott at the high end of the touch projections this week despite his lingering knee injury.
Washington Football Team DFS Spin
J.D. McKissic (concussion) is questionable for Week 14 against the Cowboys. After missing last week’s game with a brain injury, McKissic remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol two days before Washington takes on Dallas. McKissic’s Week 13 absence turned Antonio Gibson into a legit workhorse, as the second-year back saw 28 touches and scored a touchdown against the Raiders. Gibson would be a top-5 fantasy option if McKissic is out again this Sunday. With McKissic back as the team’s primary pass catching RB, Gibson would be a low-end RB1 against the pass-funnel Cowboys defense.
NFL Week 14 Betting Prediction
The underdog is 29-13 against the spread in the last 42 meetings between these two teams, while the home team is 5-2 against the number in the last seven meetings. Washington is also 4-0 against the spread in its last four games overall, is 5-1 against the number in its last six games when facing an opponent with a winning record and is 8-2 at the betting window in its last 10 games coming off a win. The Cowboys, meanwhile, have failed to cover in six of their last eight games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
