Cowboys vs. Titans Spread Prediction
The Tennessee Titans are catching five points tonight on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. Are the offensively-challenged Titans worth a play as an underdog tonight or will the Cowboys cover the number?
Game Snapshot
473 Tennessee Titans at 474 Dallas Cowboys

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Cowboys are 5-point favorites to beat the Titans. The total, meanwhile, sits at 40 points. As of this writing, 53% of the public betting tickets are on the Cowboys to cover the point spread.
Tennessee Titans
Marcus Mariota completed 24-of-32 passes for 237 yards with a touchdown and an interception in Week 7 against the Chargers. He added 38 yards on seven rushes. Mariota led the Titans to a game-tying fourth-quarter drive but failed to hit the two-point conversion. It was an improvement from last week, but Mariota continues to be a huge disappointment under a new coaching staff. The Titans had just three touchdowns in their last 45 drives going into Sunday. Mariota will be a QB2 coming out of the bye in Week 9 against the Cowboys.
Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys RG Zack Martin (knee) is questionable for Week 9 against the Titans. Martin played through the injury in Week 7, but it’s a bit concerning he’s still limited following the team’s extended rest post-bye. It would be a downgrade for Dallas’ blocking (its strength) across the board if Martin is unable to go. Geoff Swaim (knee) is additionally listed as doubtful.
NFL Betting Trends
Tennessee
The Titans are a perfect 6-0 ATS record in their last six games played on Monday but are 11-23 against the spread in their last 34 road games.
Dallas
The Cowboys are 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 Monday games but are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games coming off a bye.
Prediction
The Titans have struggled to move the ball all season but they have been solid defensively and benefit from facing a banged-up Dallas offense. With Martin questionable and the rest of the offensive line ravaged by injury, the Cowboys fired OL coach Paul Alexander last week but the problems remain. I don’t understand why the Cowboys are laying five points in this matchup, which should be low-scoring. The Titans may not snap their three-game losing streak tonight but I also don’t see them losing by more than a touchdown.
