DeAngelo Williams’ availability up in the air
The Steelers could once again be down a running back when they travel to Cincinnati this Saturday to take on the Bengals in NFL Wild Card Weekend.

After having to be carted to the locker room after a defender fell on his right leg at the end of a second-quarter run on Sunday, Pittsburgh running back DeAngelo Williams was spotted wearing a walking boot following the game. Williams did return to the sidelines in the second quarter, but he was ruled out for the game during halftime.
The Steelers went on to beat the Browns and clinch a spot in this year’s NFL playoffs once the Bills upset the Jets in Buffalo. But Williams’ availability for Wild Card Weekend is up in the air. In his first season with Pittsburgh, the 32-year-old rushed for 907 yards on 200 carries while starting a handful of games in place of suspended-then-injured starter Le’Veon Bell.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Steelers are currently 2.5-point road favorites over the Bengals for Sunday’s 8:15PM ET kickoff. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 46.5 points.
